Lance Keddy

I am based in Fredericton, New Brunswick, with a background in chemical engineering. I am currently founding Headland Energy, a distributed energy development company based in Atlantic Canada. Its initial work focuses on customer-sited solar, storage, and flexible energy assets for farms and commercial operations. This September I begin a Master of Technology Management and Entrepreneurship at UNB, where I will continue developing Headland. Before this, I co-founded Hexoris Inc. and led business development and financial modelling. We grew it into one of five finalists at the 2026 NBIF Breakthru Live Finale, chosen from more than 80 New Brunswick ventures, and I left the company in May 2026 to pursue new opportunities.

My broader interests include physical health and fitness, process optimization, energy generation and grid systems, and the macro industrial economics of how regions capture value from what they produce.
